Summer school case studies co-hosted by TRIGGER

In the framework of the summer school ENGAGE! Engaging Science for Resilient and Liveable Cities that took place at Estonian University of Life Sciences from August 7 to august 18, 2023, the project TRIGGER has co-hosted two case study projects exploring the implementation of the EU Green Deal (EGD) at the local level. Both case studies have explored the Tartu Energy and Climate Change Plan, and were building on desk top research of local, national and European policies as well as field sociological research. Citizen Science research seminar co-organised by TRIGGER

Erasmus+ Jean Monnet project TRIGGER has run its first research seminar. It was co-organised on May 16, 2023 with the ENCIVIC project supported by the Ministry of Education and Research. The event has included 5 talks and had an audience of 11 online and 5 onsite participants. The topic was the application of citizen science approaches in various sectors and fields of environmental management. The participants have also discussed cooperation of joint publications reporting on their case studies.    

The first TRIGGER-co-organised research seminar

Erasmus+ Jean Monnet project TRIGGER is co-organising its first research seminar. It will focus on Citizen Science, in recognition of the great potential this concepts holds for advancing the objectives of the EU Green Deal. Erasmus+ Jean Monnet project TRIGGER is co-organising the summer school ENGAGE! Engaging Science for Resilient and Liveable Cities that will be run at Estonian University of Life Sciences from August 7 to august 18, 2023. The ENGAGE! summer school will be a vibrant mixture of interactive sessions, field trips, and group work. Its unique setting, designed to give participants hands-on project and research experience with the management and planning of urban green and blue infrastructure, will provide a particular focus on the production and dissemination of socially engaging science supporting resilient and liveable urban environments.
